Dual-Campus A Level Pathway: Singapore & UK

Aligning the Location of Graduation with the Specific A Level Board clarifies our value proposition: Singapore offers global flexibility through International A Levels, while the UK provides native immersion with UK GCE A Levels. This page outlines the academic progression and unique teaching arrangements across both campuses.

1. Dual-System Academic Roadmap

Year 1 (Grade 10): Foundation & Pre-A Level

All students start on a shared foundation for absolute mobility between campuses.

  • Core Subjects: IGCSE English, Mathematics, and Combined Science.
  • Pathway Orientation: Stream selection and introductory Modernist art specialty.

Year 2 (Grade 11): AS Level – Specialisation Year

Narrowing focus to 4 subjects with modular flexibility. Mathematics (Pure & Statistics) is standard alongside 3 electives from Science, Business, or Art. Includes a mandatory Global Perspectives seminar.

Year 3 (Grade 12): The Graduation Year. This is where the curriculum diverges into two distinct geographic pathways.

Route A: Graduate in Singapore (SMU Diploma)

  • System: International A Level (Modular)
  • Assessment: Exams via CAIE or Edexcel
  • Focus: Flexible global mobility
  • Outcome: Singapore ULC High School Diploma

Route B: Graduate in the UK (Abbotsholme Diploma)

  • System: UK GCE A Level (Linear)
  • Assessment: Two-year integrated terminal exams
  • Focus: Native immersion in British standards
  • Outcome: Abbotsholme UK High School Diploma
